This is a WHSQ approved training course for Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) under Queensland Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation. The course meets the requirements of the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011 (WHS Regulation) for HSRs elected under the Work Health and Safety 2011 (WHS Act). Participants will gain full understanding of their roles, powers and functions in the representation, monitoring, investigation and enquiry into work health and safety management at their workplace under the WHS law and enable HSRs to issue Provisional Improvement Notices.
Currently, this course must be undertaken by all HSR’s and their deputies within 28 days of their election and refreshed every 12 months.
